A post medieval chalk pit to the northeast of Brockington Farm is visible on current Lidar imagery (1).

The chalk pit is semi-circular in form and measures 44.7m across by 15.4m deep. It is shown as 'old chalk pit' on the OS 1st Edition map (2).

The feature is within trees and not visible on current Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
