Summary

A sub-circular cropmark on the north side of the Drive Plantation, St Giles's Park, is visible on 1997 aerial photographs. The feature may represent a barrow of Bronze Age or Iron Age date, although a natural or agricultural origin is also possible. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

A sub-circular cropmark on the north side of the Drive Plantation, St Giles's Park, is visible on 1997 aerial photographs (1).

The feature is around 9m in diameter and may represent a barrow of Bronze Age or Iron Age date, although a natural or agricultural origin is also possible.

The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.
