Summary

A possible ring ditch to the northwest of Chase House, Wimborne St Giles, is visible as a faint cropmark on aerial photographs. The feature may represent a Bronze Age barrow. It is circa 41m in diameter and was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

SU 03881302. Ring ditch, diameter 41m, visible on air photograph. <1>

A possible ring ditch to the northwest of Chase House, Wimborne St Giles, is visible as a faint cropmark on 1990s aerial photographs <2>. It is also faintly visible on a 2002 aerial photograph <3>.

The ring ditch measures 40.8m in diameter with a 3m wide outer ditch. The feature is presumed to represent a possible Bronze Age barrow.

The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
