Full Description
The cropmark of a probable Bronze Age ring ditch can be seen on HE Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken in 2010. This ring ditch is situated south-west of Creech Hill Bungalows at SU 0372 1261. <2>
A partial sub-circular ring ditch to the northeast of Glebe Farm, Wimborne St Giles, is visible as a cropmark on 1990s aerial photographs. <1>
The feature measures 19.3m in diameter with a 1.2m wide outer ditch. The feature is less distinct on its north and south sides but is presumed to represent a Bronze Age barrow.
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
