Monument record MDO40266 - Bronze Age barrow, Glebe Farm, Wimborne St Giles

A sub-circular ring ditch to the south of Glebe Farm, Wimborne St Giles, is visible as a 28m diameter cropmark on 1989 aerial photographs. The ditch is 2.8m wide. The feature is presumed to represent a probable Bronze Age barrow. The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

A ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on air photographs. It is located southwest of Glebe Cottages, in a field behind Park Lane. [NB this site was originally recorded as part of SU 01 SW 86].

A sub-circular ring ditch to the south of Glebe Farm, Wimborne St Giles, is visible as a cropmark on a 1989 aerial photographs <1-4>.

The ring ditch measures 28m in diameter and the ditch is 2.8m wide. The feature is presumed to represent a probable Bronze Age barrow.

The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
