Full Description
A semi-circular cropmark at St Giles's Park is visible on a 1989 aerial photograph (1).
The cropmark measures 13.25m across and has been truncated on its west side by a later field boundary. It is one of a line of three similar features (MDO40257 and 40258) located to the west of a pennanular ring ditch (MDO40256). The feature is probably prehistoric in origin, possibly representing a funerary barrow of Bronze Age or possibly Iron Age origin.
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
