Full Description
A penannular ring ditch, with a north-facing causeway or entrance, is visible as a cropmark on air photographs.
A pennanular ring ditch at St Giles's Park is visible as a cropmark on a 1989 aerial photograph. <4>
The ring ditch measures 27m in diameter, with a 2.7m wide ditch and a possible entrance to the north. The feature is probably prehistoric in origin, possibly between Bronze Age and Iron Age in date.
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
