Full Description
A Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the south of Old Down House (1) associated with a limekiln (MDO6496). The extractive pit is visible as earthworks under trees on lidar imagery (2), it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
