An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the west of Manor Farm, Hinton Martell. The site is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and is still visible under trees on lidar imagery. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the west of Manor Farm, Hinton Martell (1)(. The site is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 2) and is still visible under trees on lidar imagery (3). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
