An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the northeast of Adder's Copse, Chalbury Common (1). The site is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 (2), it is now under trees (3). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
