Full Description

ST 96971253. Ring ditch [probable barrow site]. Diameter 21m approx. Embodied in the line of multiple linear feature [SU 01 NW 91]. Air photos include one <2.2> on which the barrow appears as a white blob. <1, 2>

Ring ditch identified on aerial photograph. Located within the course of linear multiple ditches associated with the Dorset Cursus on its north side. The ring ditch is within the multiple ditches of Long Crichel (7) at the southwest terminus of the Dorset Cursus. The ring ditch is approximately 21 metres in diameter.
