Summary

The probable site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a partial cropmark ring ditch on aerial photographs . It lies to the southwest of the southern henge of Knowlton Circles and is one of the extensive Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. Only the southern portion of the ring ditch is visible. It is 13m across and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

SU 0217 0960. A Bronze Age round barrow within the southern part of the southern part of the Knowlton Circles Barrow Group is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs and has been mapped by EH's Knowlton Circles Project. The barrow is defined by a single circular ditch 16.5m in diameter. (1-3)
