Summary
A sub-oval cropmark at Knowlton is visible on a 1995 aerial photograph. The feature may represent a Bronze Age barrow. Alternatively, however, it may be a natural feature such as a doline (sink hole). The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description
A sub-oval cropmark at Knowlton is visible on a 1995 aerial photograph (1). The feature measures around 15.5m by 8.4m and may represent a small Bronze Age barrow; possibly with a degree of plough damage. Alternatively, however, it may be a natural feature such as a doline (sink hole).
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
