Full Description
A sub-oval cropmark at Knowlton is visible on a 1995 aerial photograph (1). The feature measures around 19.9m by 11.6m and may represent a small Bronze Age barrow; possibly affected by plough damage. Alternatively, however, it may be a natural feature such as a doline (sink hole).
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
