Full Description
A rapid examination of air photography suggests the presence of three further possible round barrow sites, of Prehistoric or Roman date, viisible as ring ditch cropmarks at: E - SU 0176 0871. <1>
A ring ditch 16m across is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1989 to the north of Horton Inn <2>. It is considered to be the site of a levelled Bronze Age round barrow and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. It is one of a dispersed group of barrows in the vicinity.
