Summary

The probable site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch on aerial photographs to the northwest of The Lodge, Hinton Martell. It is possibly an outlier to the grouping of at least twenty round barrows known as the High Lea Farm Group. The ring ditch is 8m across and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

The probable site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark ring ditch on aerial photographs to the northwest of The Lodge, Hinton Martell (1). It is possibly an outlier to the grouping of at least twenty round barrows known as the High Lea Farm Group. The ring ditch is 8m across and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
