Full Description
A long sub-oval cropmark on the northwest edge of the Knowlton Barrow Group is faintly visible on 1970s aerial photographs (1).
The feature is 24m long by 8.25m wide and enclosed by a single 1m wide ditch. The west end of the feature is not visible - it may be truncated by a later possible Bronze Age barrow to the west (MDO40037). The feature may represent a Neolithic long barrow.
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
