Summary

A house built in the 17th century and probably refaced in the 18th century. The building has walls of colourwashed brick and a thatched roof with brick chimney stacks. Surviving features of the interior are reported to include stop-chamfered beams.

‘Unless otherwise described the following are 18th-century cottages with rubble walls and thatched roofs. … (24) Cottage (80551077), 30 yds. S. of the foregoing, dates from the late 18th century. Inside, the N. room has an open fireplace and two stop-chamfered beams.’
