Summary

An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the east of Mill HillWood. The site is visible as earthworks aerial photographs taken in 1946. It has since been plough-levelled but is still visible on lidar imagery. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the east of Mill Hill Wood (1). The site is visible as earthworks aerial photographs taken in 1946 (2). It has since been plough-levelled but is still visible on lidar imagery (3). It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
