Summary

A house built in the late 16th century, with 17th-century and later alterations, and re-faced in the 19th century. The building has walls of brick, covered in render, and a thatched roof with brick chimney stack. The roof is of jointed cruck construction and surviving features of the interior are reported to include wattle ceiling, a large open fireplace with oak lintel and bread oven.
