Full Description
Fragments of ditched field boundaries and a possible rectilinear enclosure are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1989 in the field to the east of the Salisbury and Dorset Junction Railway at Bridge Farm, Verwood (1). Three sides of a rectilinear enclosure 20m across lie just to the west of the parish boundary described in MDO39929. The features are of uncertain date and may be prehistoric or medieval/post medieval in origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
