Full Description
Fragments of a ditched field system are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1985 and 1992 to the south of the River Crane at Horton Farm, Horton (1-2). The field boundaries lie in the vicinity of three ring ditches (described MDO39843-5) and a possible prehistoric enclosure (MDO39914) and may therefore be of prehistoric origin although a later medieval or post medieval date cannot be ruled out. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
