Summary

A group of short ditched linears are visible as cropmarks in a field to the northeast of Gussage All Saints on 1995 aerial photographs. The linears run parallel and perpendicular to each other, suggesting small rectilinear enclosures similar to those associated with Iate prehistoric field systems of potentially Iron Age or Romano-British origin. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

A group of short ditched linears are visible as cropmarks in a field to the northeast of Gussage All Saints on 1995 aerial photographs (1 and 2). The linears run parallel and perpendicular to each other, potentially suggesting small rectilinear enclosures similar to those associated with Iate prehistoric field systems of potentially Iron Age or Romano-British origin.

The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
