Summary

Linear banked and ditched field boundaries are visible to the east of Gussage All Saints on 1940s aerial photographs. The field boundaries are likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date, although an older origin is possible. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

Linear banked and ditched field boundaries are visible to the east of Gussage All Saints on 1940s aerial photographs (1). The field boundaries are likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date, although an older origin is possible. The westernmost boundary is represented by a short line of trees on the OS 1st Edition map (2).

The features are not visible on Google Earth imagery.

The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
