Monument record MDO39836 - Historic trackways, Lower Comon, Verwood

An extensive series of ditched trackways are visible as earthworks on historic aerial photographs taken in the 1940s and 50s running roughly NW-SE across Lower Common from what is now Birch Tree Farm to Ashley Industrial Estate, a distance of 1.8km. The features are considered to be medieval or later in date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
