Summary

An extensive series of ditched trackways are visible as earthworks on historic aerial photographs taken in the 1940's and 50s running roughly NW-SE across Lower Common from what is now Birch Tree Fram to Ashley Industrial Estate, a distance of 1.8km. The features are considered to be medieval or later in date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

An extensive series of ditched trackways are visible as earthworks on historic aerial photographs taken in the 1940's and 50s running roughly NW-SE across Lower Common from what is now Birch Tree Fram to Ashley Industrial Estate, a distance of 1.8km (1-3). The features are considered to be medieval or later in date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
