Summary

An extensive series of ditched trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs running roughly north south from Oakfield Farm to Bracken Lodge along the eastern edge of Horton Common; a distance of 1.9km. The features parallel the line of the Salisbury and Dorset Junction Railway and are considered to be medieval or later in date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

An extensive series of ditched trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs running roughly north south from Oakfield Farm to Bracken Lodge along the eastern edge of Horton Common (1-3); a distance of 1.9km. The features parallel the line of the Salisbury and Dorset Junction Railway and are considered to be medieval or later in date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
