Full Description
A large oval banked enclosure is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Ironmongers Copse. It is 194m by 122m in size with traces of an outer ditch along it's northern edge (1) . It is potentially of prehistoric origin and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The south eastern half of the site is still extant under trees whereas the northwestern half is under regular ploughing (2-3).
