Full Description
Two fields of narrow ridge and furrow cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the vicinity of Monmouth Ash Farm (1). The features are considered to be the result of 19th or early 20th century cultivation. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. This whiole area has been remodelled since the 1940's and is under regular cultivation. The features have been plough-levelled and no longer visible on recent vertical photography (2).
