Summary

Parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the vicinity of Nettle Tree Farm, Horton Common. They are considered to be post medieval or early 20th century in origin and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 in the vicinity of Nettle Tree Farm, Horton Common (1). They are considered to be post medieval or early 20th century in origin and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site has since been remodelled with paddocks and buildings (2), only a small area was still extant in 2002 (3).
