A small hollow is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on Horton Common (1). It is considered likely to be a post medieval extractive pit and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The feature is not visible on 1966 aerial photographs having been plough-levelled (2).
