Summary

An elongated hollow is visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1992. The feature coincides with an extractive pit or pond marked on the first edition Ordnance Survey map on Redman's Hill abutting a linear field boundary (now removed). The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

An elongated hollow is visible as low earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1992 (2). The feature coincides with an extractive pit or pond marked on the first edition Ordnance Survey (1) map on Redman's Hill abutting a linear field boundary (now removed). The feature has been plough-levelled and is no longer visible on lidar imagery (3), it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
