Full Description
A series of parallel linear ditched features in a field to the east of Dayman`s Wood, Hurn, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1). The linears are contained on their east side by a historic ditched field boundary of probable post medieval origin (see MDO39701) and are probably associated with a post medieval drainage system.
The features are still faintly visible on current Google Earth imagery and were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
