Ditched linear features to the east of Dayman`s Wood, Hurn, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are probably associated with historic field boundaries of post medieval or earlier origin. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description
Ditched linear features to the east of Dayman`s Wood, Hurn, are visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1).
The ditched linears underlie field boundaries shown on the OS 1st Edition map and are probably associated with historic field boundaries of post medieval or earlier origin.
The features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery and were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
