Summary

A series of narrow east to west aligned ditched linears on Rams Down are visible on current Lidar imagery. The features are probably post medieval or earlier trackways or droveways, although an early 20th century military origin is also possible. The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.

A series of narrow east to west aligned ditched linears on Rams Down are visible on current Lidar imagery (1).

The features are probably post medieval or earlier trackways or droveways across the open heath, although an early 20th century military origin is also possible.

The features are under tree cover and not visible on current Google Earth imagery.

The features were digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
