Full Description

A possible Bronze Age barrow in Rams Down Plantation is visible as a low circular mound on the east side of Christchurch Road on current Lidar imagery (1).

The possible barrow measures 32m in diameter. It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.

The possible barrow may just be visible on the 2000 Google Earth imagery (2) but is under tree cover on current Google Earth imagery.
