A post medieval gravel pit on the north side of Hurn Court Lane is visible as a cropmark on a 2005 aerial photograph (1). It is recorded as `Old Gravel Pit` on the OS 1st Edition map (2).
It remains faintly visible under crops on current Google Earth imagery (3).
The feature was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
