Possible post medieval extractive pits on the east side of Matchams Road are visible on 1940s aerial photographs. (1). One of the pits is also visible on current Lidar imagery (2).

The site is under tree cover on current Google Earth imagery and its condition is unknown.

The site was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
