Full Description
A Sand Pit is marked at this location on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map. A large pit, 140m by 45m, It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery(1) and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. A second smaller pit lies to the south-east.
