Summary

A section of curved ditch is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Edmondsham. The feature is potentially part of a prehistoric ring ditch and may therefore be the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A section of curved ditch is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Edmondsham (1). The feature is potentially part of a prehistoric ring ditch and may therefore be the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. It lies in the vinity of a larger barrow cemetery and may similarly be prehistoric or a much later agrcultural feature. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
