Summary

A ring ditch is visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Edmondsham. It is considered to be the remains of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A penannular ring ditch 17m across is visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Edmondsham (1). It is one of a larger group of nine and is probably the site of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow. The site was digitally plotted from aerial photographs during the Dorset Stour NMP.
