Full Description

A possible Bronze Age barrow on heathland north of Bournemouth Hurn is visible on current Lidar imagery (1).

The possible barrow is situated on the east side of the Moors River to the north of Bournemouth Hurn. On current Lidar imagery it presents as an irregular mound measuring around 32m to 35m wide.

The possible barrow may survive under tree cover on current Google Earth imagery (2). It was digitally plotted by the Dorset Stour NMP.
