A curved linear banked feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on Verwood Common (RAF 1946). The site is possibly an historic wood bank, it is no longer visible being under modern planation since the mid 20th century (Ordnance Survey 1985). The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
