Summary

Ditched linear features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery near Kings Farm, Moors Valley Country Club, Verwood. They are considered to be post medieval drainage features. The north-eastern portion of the site has been destroyed by 20th century landscaping and the construction of a lake. The features were digitally plotted plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

Ditched linear features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery near Kings Farm, Moors Valley Country Club, Verwood (1-2). They are considered to be post medieval drainage features. The north-eastern portion of the site has been destroyed by 20th century landscaping and the construction of a lake. The features were digitally plotted plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
