Full Description
A post medieval extractive pit is visible on 1940s aerial photographs (1) and (2). It is still extant on an aerial photograph of 1948 (2) but by 1957 it is replaced by warehousing or greenhouses, with two houses adjacent (3). By 1969 Magnolia Close was laid out as it is today (4).
The site was mapped by the Dorset Stour NMP.
