Please read our .

Summary

A roughly square enclosure visible as earthworks and apparently containing a house platform was shown by excavation in 2004 to be post-medieval in date, possibly formed in the late 18th or 19th century. The Tithe apportionment (1839) describes houses, a barn and stables here, but no trace of these was found in the excavations.
