<1> Royal Commission on Historic Monuments, 1970, An Inventory of Historical Monuments in the County of Dorset, Volume III (Central) Part 2, 118 (Monograph). SDO136.

‘The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 18th century and of two storeys, or one storey with attics; the walls are of brick and the roofs are thatched. … (7) Cottage, adjoining (6) on the S.E., has a stone plinth and rendered walls, and pilasters with moulded caps at each end of the street-front. It was built late in the 18th century.’
