Full Description
The probable site of a Second World War bomb impact crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 to the south east of Wattons Ford Common (1). The curvilinear hollow was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The feature is faintly visible as a slight earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 2005 (2) but is not visible on lidar imagery so may have recently been levelled as a result of pasture improvement (3).
