Full Description
A small D-shaped embanked enclosure is marked on the OS 1st edition map (1)and is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 (2). It is considered to be of post medieval origin, possibly a stock enclosure. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP, it was destroyed by 1962 by earthmoving and the construction of a building and carpark at Matchams (3).
