Full Description
The probable site of a Second World War bomb impact crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 to the south of Ringwood Road within Whitehouse Wood (1). The curvilinear hollow is 4m across with an outer ring of ejected material; it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP. The site is under low scrubby vegetation and light tree cover, it is not visible on recent imagery and its current condition could not be accessed (2).
