Full Description
The probable sites of two Second World War bomb impact crater are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 on Barnsfield Heath (1). This whole area has since been disturbed by earthmoving associated with the construction of the Test Tracks and they are no longer visible on recent imagery (2). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
